Miller B. Hilliard

President & CEO

As the President & CEO of Surety Bond Solutions, Miller leads the company’s vision to become the premier surety partner for contractors across Louisiana and the Gulf South. A graduate of Louisiana State University with a degree in Business Management and a concentration in Entrepreneurship and Finance, Miller is passionate about finding creative solutions to the complex challenges facing the construction industry.

He was named as one of Baton Rouge’s Top 40 under 40 Business Leaders, a Past President of the Louisiana Surety Association (2024) and currently serves on the Louisiana Senate’s Public Project Payment Task Force, the NASBP Small & Emerging Business Committee, and the board of Maddie’s Footprints, a nonprofit supporting families who experience infant or pregnancy loss. Miller is also an active member of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), Alpha Strategic Partners, the American Subcontractors Association (ASA), the Construction Financial Managers Association (CFMA), and the Associated General Contractors (AGC).

Randolph A. Brunson

Executive Chairman & COO

Randy is a graduate of the University of Mississippi. He started his career in insurance and bonding in 1975. From 1984 to 1989 he was President and Chief Operating Officer of one of the largest construction oriented insurance agencies in Louisiana. From 1989 to 1995 Randy was President and owner of the largest bond only agency in Louisiana. For five years, Randy served as a Surety Branch Manager for a National Bonding Company earning a Branch of the Year designation before returning to the Agency business in 2000.

As Executive Chairman and Chief Operating Officer, Randy assists in forming and guiding our long term strategic plan, and oversees the day-to-day operations to ensure our standard of excellence is met.

Randy is a Surety Producer who understands the underwriting process. He assists new and existing clients to not only understand what information will be needed, but also many of the questions that may be asked by the surety.

Fiona J. Boyd

Vice President

Fiona J. Boyd graduated from Wigston College, Leicestershire, England and moved to the USA in 1984. Fiona entered the surety industry in 1986 as an Assistant to the Bond Manager at a mid-size insurance agency in New Jersey. After moving to Louisiana in 1989, she worked as a Bond Assistant/Underwriter for Randy Brunson.

She continued to work alongside Randy at a national bonding company as a Senior Underwriter for five years and accompanied Randy when he returned to the Agency business. Fiona assists new clients with the bonding set up process, works with existing clients to maintain bonding and also performs accounting duties at Surety Bond Solutions.

Fiona has attended the National Association of Surety Bond Producers (NASBP) William J. Angell Surety School and successfully completed Levels One and Two, in addition to numerous Surety Seminars and Classes. She is licensed in property & casualty insurance for the State of Louisiana.

Fiona is the Vice President for Surety Bond Solutions and also a Louisiana Civil Law Notary and provides this service to existing clients.

Fiona is a member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Louisiana as well as the Louisiana Notary Association.

Robin Gauthier

Account Manager

Robin is a graduate of Utah Valley University, where she majored in Business Management. Before attending Utah Valley, Robin grew up in Denham Springs, where she currently resides with her husband and 3 children. Robin has experience in the construction industry as a Proposal Coordinator, Account Manager and in business development.

This expertise is extremely valuable as Robin works to assist our clients with their surety program.

Jonah Overland

Producer

Jonah is a lifelong resident of Denham Springs and a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University’s business school. Jonah brings years of experience in both sales, and in the construction industry. His firsthand understanding of contractors’ needs allows him to provide tailored solutions that help clients secure projects and grow their businesses.

Jonah specializes in helping emerging contractors establish a bonding program and advising them on how best to grow both their bonding capacity, and their company as a whole.
